Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Today was Jillian's Quick Trouble Zones (which is everything but the "core" circuits - so the first 4 circuits on the DVD). It went well - I was able to heavy up for some exercises, but others just do not lend themselves to heavy weights - like the rear lunges with the delt flies and going too heavy compromises form and range of motion. I don't think these are intended to be "heavy" workouts in general, so that is something to keep in mind when doing the workouts. After Jillian, since I was using the "big" TV that is hooked up to cable, I did Sansone's 1 Mile walk that she did for the American Heart Association. Finally, I did a recorded classical stretch. My PBS station is running a new season of CS - I think it is the 2009 seaon (yay - I can try before I buy!). I really liked the routine I did today - it started off with some hip stretches/mobility and then moved into more general total body stretches with a few segments focusing on the arm torture that she puts you through. CS is soooo helpful for me. I am recording another episode today. I like what I see so far and if I continue to like them, I think I *will* break down and order the 2009 TV series even though it is very pricey - $65 or $69 - but you do get 26 workouts on two discs. I think it is a good investment for me because these are really great for my back and keeping everything loose, extended, and limber. I wish I remembered Miranda's free shipping sale earlier this month. Oh well....now, the only way to get free shipping is to buy 3 or more products. Hope everyone has a good one today!Donna
