Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Today was Level 1 of Shred again - getting better and better at it! I think the rotation moves to Level 2 next week - and I feel ready to go there! After Shred, I did 2 miles of using her "pink" 3 mile weight loss DVD. This one is the one where Kay leads the 2nd mile at a very nice pace. I did miles 2 and 3 on this DVD - so I started with the Kay fast mile, then did the 3rd mile with . The 3rd mile used light handweights. I have discovered, this is the best way to use 's 3 mile DVDs - as an add on - starting with the 2nd mile - since I'm already warmed up, I don't need the 1st mile to get into the groove and since tends to slow it down in the second half of the 3rd mile that provides a great cool-down for me! So, I think for this rotation my 3 mile s will be frequent guests. :)After I did the "intense stretch" from Perfect in 10 Stretch. It was a good routine, but not for me. Too many forward bends which do not agree with my back. I may trade this one - i tend to do much better by stretching on my own since I know what works best for me and following along a routine, even if it is a good one, is not always the best thing for me especially if a lot of "contraindicated" moves are included. That said, I do enjoy stretching with Classical Stretch, but that is really a whole different style - more dynamic and flowy. Tomorrow Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism is up and I will follow that up with some Classical Stretch, time permitting. I did get push-ups in yesterday afternoon but only did 3 sets, since I had done 2 sets with Jillian in the morning. I managed to do 3 sets of 20, so I really haven't lost any ground by taking the month of December off from doing them. I did get quite sore in the core when I first re-started the push-ups though - wow, talk about a total body exercise. I will also get at least 12 flights of stairs in today. Hope everyone has a good oneDonna
