So my neck was just KILLING me yesterday. I gave up and called the doctor whom I

met with today. She said yes my slipped disc is bothering me, but the majority

of my pain is actually migraine pain. Apparently that tightness and stiffness in

the back of the neck is a migraine symptom. Her big clue was just how much light

is bothering my eyes. It always bothers me some because of my fibro, but I could

barely open my eyes outside.

So she gave me fun drugs, a headache journal to fill out and told me no exercise

till the pain as gone so that I don't irritate my disc.

I'm peeved. I feel like I've spent a better part of this year benched for some

reason or another. But it does bring home the importance of having a wide wide

range of workouts.I can always start back gentle when needed and hit it home

hard when I'm healthy ;-)
