Tonite Marina and her boyfriend, Fred, came over and we did Tear It Up.   I'm pretty sure I've never done this one before, and it was challenging - but then again they all are.  It is 78 minutes long, for one thing - the warmup and stretch are both around 6 minutes long.  This is what you do:

upright rowsbent rows, then with pulsesstanding chest pressesrotators, then double time " W " pressesrear delt liftsbicep curls, then upper half only overhead tricep extensionsknee pulls

uppercuts, jabslunge side to side with a reachlow lunge knee pullsjug w/bicep curls, half jackssquats, then with knee upsfront lunges, pulsesdead liftsplie squatscalf raisesfront kick back kick

side kicks (Debbie once again has terrible form for these)palm lift ups - ow!  lateral raisebicep curls, then hammer curls with pulsesouter bicep curls, plusesone arm rear delt lift, then trice kickback on same arm (ow!)

medium stance squats, pulsesnarrow stance squatsslow count deadliftsone legged deadlifsplies, knee flexbacks (ow!)calf raisesBURPIES!half jacks, jogwith bands (we used weights instead)

I was amazed at how tame Tony was in this one!  He was pretty mellow!  There is a basic 10 minute stretch and you can continue on with a more advanced 20 minute stretch after that if you want, which we did. The usual yoga stretches one sees in other workouts, not much to report on this but I liked it!  Tony doesn't mirror his cueing and Marina made the astute remark that all Beach Body has to do is flip the screen when they produce these and then his cueing would be right on.

Tomorrow night I'm on my own for working out. I get off work early and my body is telling me to do restorative type yoga, so I shall.  I'd like to try one of the yin yoga practices from Powers' Insight Yoga, the meditation, and shavasana.   I think I will like this because she inserts Buddhism in her practices from what I've read, and I could use a Dharma fix.

Lotus flowers (for Stacey! :-)
