Everything fine here....this Friday I have an appt at the VA hosp with the Hep guy....9 month check up after Tx. I feel good with no symptoms. I have gained about 6 lbs and the pony tail isn't making much progress. Still busy with travel...I will be on the road for the next 10 weekends....CA, NV and DC among others. Party on! Lol, suffice it to say the hubby is walking tall again. My neck is still pretty bad, I am still positive it is just an aggravated flare-up thing. And the dog might just get staked outside for the night. Doc called and my blood work & liver function looks good. We are checking the viral load again as a little before one year post tx... last month I have insurance. Should be another week or so until I get those results. I am not worried. Oh, I do have an appointment with Voc Rehab in the morning. First one since being approved, should be interesting. I am trying hard to look at having to put a driving career behind me as a chance for a new beginning. Just wish I wasn't going to be competing with young hotshots in my chosen second profession. I think it's a waste of time, I feel fine but I promised I'd go so I will. It'll be good to get out of T. Bay for a few days. I'm looking at the whole thing as a short, busy vacation, I've never been to London except for once hitching through on my way to Detroit, never stopped to look around so this'll be fun. The only thing I'm worrying about is the last day (endo & colonoscopy day) & how SpYke's going to react when I get home, I don't need any more bites or scratches from Sir SpYke the Innocent. I got up at 9PM last night and I've been up since with a couple of quickie naps thrown in. Finally figured out how and when to refill all my meds and made up a calendar. Gotta love this Part D. Still fighting for an authorization for my Concerta but that's the last one. All the others that needed Prior Authorization got approved. One took a month and a half! Doing great on my new pain meds, It's like a new lease on life. Looking back I don't know how I was even functioning. Once I got the pain taken care of I realized just how much pain I was in and how it really affected my quality of life. It's really refreshing to get my posture back and to walk like a real person.
