Tonite I worked out with my friend, , on the floor at the gym.  is like a sneaky version of Noel, I swear!  I got my butt kicked tonite!  I did:2 sets of 15:With a 10 lb med ball, reach down and grab off floor, twist torso on way up, extend ball high above and to the side of the head and back down, 15x each side.

With a 30 lb barbell, 15 upright rows, 15 dead liftslunges, 15 each leg, I just used my body weight For abs, 2 sets of each:SO FUN!  We each sat on a stability ball, I would crunch up and do a cross punch (oblique work) to her opposite hand held up.  It was like punching on a mitt!  Loved this partner exercise!  I did as many as I could and I'm already feeling the DOMS

Standing side bends with a 25 lb plateAt the cable pull:Standing on one foot and pulling a 20 lb cable toward you, works the core and standing glute much more than the arm/back.  Wooo-wee!  Fun!

I love working out with :)  She is really good, watches my form, picks fun exercises, and motivates me to do more strength work on my own.  I worked up a sweat and feel great this evening!  I get bored doing this stuff on my own and left to my own devices at the gym I'd normally just take a class or do a workout video instead!

Looking forward to doing the Slim in 6 / Slim Series rotation in December and January with you, Donna!  I think doing these strength workouts 3x a week will really reshape my body after a couple of months.  I just need to change my eating!  UG!  I've been doing pretty well with alcohol and saving it for the weekend for the most part, so 2 bottles of wine per week or so.  My eating hasn't been too terrible choice wise but I just eat too dang much and the weight isn't going to come off until I change this.

Good news at Subway!  For the egg and cheese sandwich for breakfast you can get the egg whites instead of the whole egg now!  That cuts out some fat for sure!  I throw on lots of veggies and just mustard and spicy mustard for the sauce.  Carb monster that I am,  I always appreciate most the honey oat bread.  MMMM!   I wonder how much they would charge me if I just ordered a footlong piece of bread? LOL

Hugs from a Foodie,
