Guest guest Posted July 30, 2006 Report Share Posted July 30, 2006 Amen to that... women & forgivness There is something about being a good women when it comes to forgiving yourself..we carry guilt that we do not deserve, as if we take on the regrets & actions for not only ourselves but for others we love too.. It takes a long time to get to the place of forgiving yourself..it took me almost a lifetime..and this didnt happen until after mac died...and during my tx..I did the best I could for everyone but it seems the drinking hurt my kids the most, although I was a productive working drinker & I took care of the house ,husband and kids & then some..it took my hubby to die to forgive myself..and this group help me achieve that too..Continue to tell yourself.you are a human being and deserve peace of mind with yourelf, because God has forgivin you along time ago...It your turn lisa, try too let it go and work it out during this tx bout, so you can kill these feelings along with the nasty dragon...Did I make sense??...Love ya, Pat Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
