Guest guest Posted May 19, 2009 Report Share Posted May 19, 2009 The SCOBYs should work, although it might take awhile for them to get back to full capacity. Certainly can't hurt to try! If there is any liquid left with the SCOBYs you should use that for starter, about one cup per gallon. If not, use 1/4 cup distilled vinegar per gallon of brew instead. Just brew your tea, add your sugar, cool, plop in the SCOBY and pour the starter or vinegar over the top. That's it!
