Guest guest
I'm envious you were able to do pushups on your toes. With my bum toe I had to do them on my knees today. Wanh! Oh well, I'm grateful I was able to work out at all. Don't be too impressed with my pushups on my toes. I've read your posts on your pushups and you got me beat by a long shot. Guest guest
Do you have other workouts of hers, and who puts them out, do you know offhand? Below is a link to her web site. I have one other workout of hers (kickbox). The only thing I DON'T like about Tracey is that when she says 8 more, she really means 3 more sets of 8 lol very annoying. Guest guest
Hi , I know it is unbelievable isn't it? Both had health issues, so it wasn't a total surprise, but the timing was definately not expected. Very sad, both were young/youngish - 43 and 54 - so way earlier than I would want to go. I'm glad your work atmosphere has improved. I try to stay removed here. Oh, I forgot to mention re: your proposed running plan for the Shamrock - check out the Couch Potato to 5K plan - it is really good and definately do-able. I built up to running for 30 min straight on the TM (I don't know if I could do that outside though - but I'm working the program outdoors now when I can). Here's a link: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml Definately mix up your outdoor and treadmill runs. Certain aspects of the treadmill make running easier (no wind resistance and controlled hills!), but other aspects of TM running I find to be more difficult - the motion seems more stressful to my knees - whereas outdoor running feels more natural. Definately do glute activation work if you are working on the TM, your glutes are pretty turned off since the TM does the work of pulling your leg back - at least that is what my FitFirmies friend said. Take care, Donna From: pinkk_pussycat <pinkpussycat@...>Subject: Donna / Monday Workout Date: Wednesday, October 21, 2009, 2:16 PM What?? ANOTHER coworker passed away? What are the chances of that? Yeah, that would certainly lower the morale and productivity for awhile. I'm sorry you're dealing with dirty politics, our department went through that around 5 years ago and it was awful. Hugslaura--- In , Donna M-P <donna112520@ ...> another co-worker passed away last week and it has definately affected things around here. I won't go into the details, but there is also some element of office politics as usual surrounding things - really disturbing that grown adults behave the way they do sometimes.
