Guest guest Posted April 20, 2009 Report Share Posted April 20, 2009 After much searching for big jars cheap, I have decided that lots of cheap gallon jars is a better solution. $6 each at walmart with a spigot. U can have a 5 gallon potential for $30. Easier to handle than big jars and so much more versatile. After making KT in it--I think it is plenty big enough due to the weight of it when the tea is put in it. (One has to be careful when carrying it up the stairs.) Hope this helps. Guest guest Posted April 21, 2009 Report Share Posted April 21, 2009 I got a 15 L (well 14.53L) glass jar wide mouth from The Bulk Barn (Not sure if it is just a Canadian company).. you can see it on the photo albums and Glenn's adventures... Picked it up for about $15 CAD. Works well.. we just use a turkey baster to take what we need and continuous brew the batch.. actually today might be batch day!!!
