Guest guest
Oh e, I know where you are coming from! When we had our first child (now 8) she was such a terror. She screamed and pooped. That was pretty much it. But we were thrilled. She was gorgeous and healthy. Along came the second child (now 6) and she was gorgeous too, and laid back. The answer to our prayers, sleep through infancy! Then one day in preschool my oldest grabbed her shoe tongues, rocked back and forth and snorted loudly for 20 minutes. That was the beginning of many strange behaviors and thoughts. We mourned for the anxiety she would have to deal with her whole life. She would never be able to go through life carefree like other kids. At least our youngest was so laid back. She won't have all of these challenges. Until this year. Now she is riddled with anxiety and separation issues. Oh yeah, and last night she told me she can't look at her food when she eats and can't sleep without counting all of her stuffed animals 3 times. Fantastic news! Life is never easy. Not for anyone I know, anyway. It is nice to hear from people here, though, that at least we are not the only people going through this stuff. Hang in there! Deniece Sigh Hi, I'm not being biased, really...I have two sons who are gorgeous! Sweet, smart attractive....When they were born, ten finger, ten toes - we were home free. My 8 yr old son with OCD (diagnosed at 6) is hanging in there. Doing pretty well, considering that we don't medicate him. Last weekend, my 5 yr old son had a seizure! Lots of tests to come....They were so cute that I never imagined that there could be " bad wiring " in their brains! What the hell? My husband and I are always lookng at them and commenting to one another, " Damn, can we cook or what?! " . Now, they both have " issues " with their brains?????? Is this common? Guest guest
I'm right with you. My sweetie was literally perfect till he was 3. Cute, smart, could read by age 3 -- we stopped at one child because we thought we'd hit the jackpot and it would be tempting fate to have another. Now? Epilepsy, OCD, ADHD and Aspergers. And he's still cute and smart and as sweet as pie. Wish I could figure him out, though.... (with a C) > > Hi, > > I'm not being biased, really...I have two sons who are gorgeous! Guest guest
Hi e, My oldest daughter(12) always says to me " See Mom, I should have been an only child " She is fine. Straight A's no problems. No problems with her brain. Than came my extra ordinarily beautiful daughter. My 12 yr old is beautiful too, but everyone always calls striking!! She is gorgeous. I started having problems with her the day she was born! She has always been very very difficult and still is.She has Ocd and Bipolar. My son was born, cute as anything. He was a perfect little angel, a good boy, until the " bad thoughts " took over when he was 4. I don't understand it! I guess we must be very special people to handle these beautiful kids of ours. I always tell everyone that is why they are so goodlooking and cute, otherwise we could never handle it!!!!! Hugs to you Judy

Guest guest
Well, I keep meaning to get back in to the swing of things and then life knocks me down again. We lost our angel our eldest kitty yesterday. She declined in health this last week after a full year from her diagnosis of kidney failure. We tried for a few days to turn it around but then had to accept fate and say our goodbyes. We were on our way to her final vet visit when she passed away in my arms. I'm relieved she is not suffering but am really just miserably sad as well. I didn't do much working out this week for obvious reasons. If I do something today it will be a miracle. Though I think if I can get through something it will help. My heart isn't in to kickboxing and dancing doesn't sound fun either.....soooooo I have no clue. I of course fell of the weight watchers wagon again. Back full on tomorrow. I needed much in the way of beer. Though in a small mini-brag. I didn't have one piece of candy corn this year though walking by a jar every day. Candy corn is my weakness. I do however have that dreaded left over trick or treat candy to pawn off on others. Any whoo I hope you all will forgive me for my on again off again posts.I try as best as possible to read the digest but its sometimes hard to log in and respond like I want to. Love to all a
Guest guest
Oh, a. I’m so sorry. We lost our kitty (he was only 3) back in June. We were all devastated, so I understand how you’re feeling. They really ARE a big part of our famlies. Take your time to heal yourself – and use this time to maybe find some other workout routine that’s so not anything you might have tried before. Who knows – you just might find the kickstart you were looking for. -Terri- On 11/1/09 11:52 AM, " a " <paulajfrey@...> wrote: Well, I keep meaning to get back in to the swing of things and then life knocks me down again.
