Guest guest Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 Dear roomies, when I try second fermentation with raisins, my finished KT smells funny, it does not have fresh vinegary smell, but rather spoiled (reminds me of sauerkraut smell). Does anyone know why? It tastes O.K. though. I use organic raisins. If I try second fermentation on day 5 (while the sugar content is still enough) without any flavor, will it still work?
