morning allyesterday after noon did a nice treadmill interval mix for 30 min. 2 min moderate jog with small incline, 1 min sprint no incline, 1 min brisk walk with high incline. i got home to get viola off the bus and as we were walking back to the house i just out of the blue slipped on the wet pavement and slammed onto the sidewalk right where there are jagged edges(long story short is between my house and depressed house next door there use to be a concrete yard that they dug up to the city sidewalk so now there are edges where they used to meet) so i scratched just below my hip and my hip and back are sore. i tried ultimate flexibility-easy segment by sang kim. more dynamic stretching and it helped. then i did warm water stretching at the ymca pool and slept on a heating pad. i still didn't feel ready to do a kickbox workout as planned so i

did a walking one. i picked up denise austin's walking workout at big lots for $2 and picked the walk and tone with weights 1 mile walk and the 10 min stretch. workout wise it did the trick but i didn't find that the actual workout held my interest i kept looking at the timer. on a 15 min workout i shouldn't be looking to see when it over LOL. i will have to try the other segments on this to see how they fair. the stretch was nice nothing different just simple stretching with some twisting. i can see my range of motion is limited in certain stretches b/c my back is quite sore but i am functional so i could be doing worse right now. my plan later is upper body/abs at the y with permission to modify where need be including going lighter. whatever it takes to still get a workout in without trying to overdo it. but what is bothering me is thursday and saturday we are doing halloween parties'/trick or treating and i wanted to dress up and even a

pound or two or water weight will keep me from being able to zip up the dress i am using for a costume. hopefully with a little cut in calories and more water will help keep that bloat at bay. btw i am the corpse bride for halloween LOL. even with the cold my pumpkins are starting to turn and i find they actually help the decor of the living dead LOL. kassia
