Guest guest
When you said FOOD WHORE, I jumped to attention. But then you asked all those hard questions I can’t answer. De Dingy Danne With Q n A- FOOD Welcome to this weeks Q n A for Dummies..hehe This week I am calling out all my fellow FOOD WHORES. Food and Liver disease. Q. Tell me foods to use with caution. Q. Foods to never touch with liver disease. Q. Foods that are big no no's with liver disease AND diabetes.(includes several of us). Q. Foods that are body safe even with our many issues. After seeing a dietitian I had even fewer clear answers. I was not impressed with his dietary knowledge. But with so many issues going on for many of us I feel I need someone to lean on in this department. I have problems reading technical material. Something I used to love. Now I get lost after just a few lines. OK for any of you that are tired of my goofy questions, the only way to get me to stop is to start asking your own questions. HINT: I'M TRYING TO GET SOME OF YOU TO INTERACT MORE!!! love and hugs dingy danne

Guest guest
I can’t eat anything spicy any more or raw onions. But that’s because it doesn’t agree with me any more. Other than that, I don’t do anything special – although I should be dieting. De RE: Dingy Danne With Q n A- FOOD De are there any foods you avoid since dx?? Guest guest
Food and I dont agree in general since I had my gallbladder removed. Food either goes straight through me or it gives me gas. We are not talking a little gas. Enough to get a couple rockets to the moon... haha. Then lately I feel I should be hungry but I'm not hungry and even feel full. Even though it has been over 24hrs since I ate.. lol oh well love and hugs d Motley <dmotley@...> wrote: I can’t eat anything spicy any more or raw onions. Guest guest
d, Just a little advice I learned down the road,,,Not eating anything is the worse thing to do to your liver..it needs nurishment...You must eat, even if its many small things throughout the day... I ate alot of fruit, peanut butter fish chicken & greens are great too, but not alot of carrots...Good luck to ya girl...Love Patty RE: Dingy Danne With Q n A- FOOD Food and I dont agree in general since I had my gallbladder removed. Guest guest
I limit the amount of meat I eat.I usually eat meat every day but no more then the size of a hamberger patty. Our liver has to work harder to filter meat.Green vegetables are supposed to be good for you,but limit the ones with iron in them, like spinach.Hopefully others will jump in. Guest guest
Michel Micheal sent you a list and it is a good one.Print it out.It is important that you eat even if you are not hungry. We have to keep our bodies strong to fight this disease. On days I am not hungry I eat a lot of fruit .As far as dairy products go I drink skim milk, and low fat cheese.I don't like soya milk.Take care Gail -----Original Message-----From: Hepatitis CSupportGroupForDummies [mailto:Hepatitis CSupportGroupForDummies ]On Behalf Of dannegrlSent: April 17, 2006 6:43 PMHepatitis CSupportGroupForDummies Subject: RE: Dingy Danne With Q n A- FOOD Food and I dont agree in general since I had my gallbladder removed.
