Guest guest
I have an inflamed sacroiliac joint. She prescribed vicidin and cyclobenzaprine and referred me to physical therapy if I feel I need it. I'm not to teach Turbo Kick until November but the good news is it's not a slipped disc or anything major like that, so just walking, swimming, very gentle yoga for awhile is what she said I can do. The other good news is the hospital's scale showed me at 7 lbs less than my home scale, and that was fully clothed! YES!Tomorrow Tressia is coming over for that boring Peggy Cappy yoga practice but right now it's probably the only one I have that I can do, so I will give you all a full report tomorrow and let you know if it is indeed as boring as it seems! Thanks for everyone's well wishing! This really is a good outcome considering what it could have been. Whew! Hugs,

Guest guest
Hi , Sorry to hear about the SI Joint. I hear that it is very painful. My SI Joint is one of my trouble spots, but I don't think it ever got "inflamed" - mine just goes "out" and needs to put put back "in". I think just had to deal with this also and she did a lot of walking, too. I hope you feel better soon. It actually is sorta good timing w/ you going on vacation soon - at least you were going to miss your turbo classes anyway for your trip and that will give you a good oppotunity to rest up and you'll have new and different places to walk. I know it is hard to do, especially as you start to feel better - but really try to rest and listen to your doctor - if the joint is inflamed you don't want to aggravate it as it heals. Guest guest
, Glad to know its not serious. Look at the break from teaching as more time. You need it! a > > I have an inflamed sacroiliac joint. Guest guest
I feel for you! I just recovered from a SI flare-up. Although it's not fun, it definitely is better than a slipped disk. I hope it feels better fast.Woohoo on the scale! I'd make the home scale match! On Thu, Sep 17, 2009 at 2:55 PM, Pink Pussycat <pinkpussycat@...> wrote: I have an inflamed sacroiliac joint. Guest guest
, I'm sorry your having problems, but you are right, it IS good that you don't have slipped disk. I know that will bother you not doing your class, but you have to take care of yourself!!!! That is great news about the 7lbs. I'd be throwing them home scales away and getting some new ones. That thing has been lying to you for a while. ))))) ~*~~*~
