Urine from kombucha tea

I only brewed my Kombucha using green tea & I noticed that my urine also

appeared light greenish-yellow just like green tea colour & I use to

pass out urine in quite a volume. I would like some feedbacks from

members.

what you drink (or eat) will impart its colors and odors to your elimination

functions (just eat a big batch of fresh beets and you will see!). OK, i know

that is TMI, but what you are experiencing is similar to taking B vitamins. they

are very yellow, and can produce an almost flourescent yellow urine. in addition

to changing the color, i posted awhile back that KT gave my urine a peculiar

odor, and i still find this is true, especially if i drink a lot, or a strong

batch, or dont drink enough water. chances are, you need to increase your pure

water intake (as most of us do). eddy at happy herbalist recommends half your

body weight in ouces of water per day. so if you weigh 150 pounds, drink 75

ounces of water, 200 pounds - 100 ounces of water, etc. this is difficult for me

to do, but i try to at least follow any beverage i drink with the same amount of

pure water. this in effect " waters down " any toxins and other byproducts

eliminated through urination.
