Hi Rodrick and EveryOne,

Yes if you see mold on or in your Kombucha you should throw everything

out and clean and rinse your utensils very well and start again with a

fresh Kombucha colony or Kombucha tea or both.

While many molds are not harmful, there are some that are toxic and

without lab equipment there is no way to tell which is growing on your

Kombucha. Mold is fuzzy and comes in many colors if you see that throw

it out and start anew.

Peace, Love and Harmony,

Bev

the spore stems of tiny plants. If you get mold in your kt, then, yes,

I agree you should throw it out because it will simply reproduce and

you won't be able to get rid of it. It's not going to hurt you though.

Were you meaning that a healthy scoby will kill mold spores or what?
