(that would make 'ripped to the core' second and 'ripped' last as the 'easiest'). it is also the one that i like the least...LOL. i do think that i like 'ripped' the best because i can really up my weights with it and it is so straight forward... no muss, no fuss. RTTC is a great workout too though, and i like it as well. i dont know about 1000... it looks to be the hardest of the 4, but i havent done it so i cant really say. :*carolyn. Guest guest
laura, they are all pretty tough in there own right but i think i get much more out of slim and lean upper body wise. IMO, i just can't go as heavy with ripped to the core and moderatly so in ripped 1000. but if i had to say i would pick 1000 as the hardest b/c it combines compound movements, lower only, upper only segments and super high cardio which i think makes it tougher. with slim and lean as the runner up b/c of the amount of reps to keep up with. ripped to the core doesn't do very much very me,maybe alittle in the lower body but my upper body feels lacked of work afterwards. kassia ldy_solana's domain Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don’t want to impress people they don’t like.-Will Boardwalk for $500? Guest guest
i only have the first 3 ripped workouts but in my opinion, yes, slim & lean is the hardest of those 3. I agree. S & L is definitely the hardest. I actually think its harder than even Ripped 1000.. though Ripped 1000 is more cardio. See what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage. Guest guest
i dont know about 1000... it looks to be the hardest of the 4 Well, I can tell you my two friends were not real happy with me during the workout!! I went in to check on them periodically. I actually was able to do the pushup part with them. I made it through 10 toe pushups and was able to do all the knee ones. Of course I had not done the 30 minutes prior to the pushups either. I don't know if I mentioned that I have been having trouble with my right deltoid muscle. I can't do side lateral raises with more than 3 pounds. I can do front ones okay (I think that's what they're called - you raise the weight out to the side or the front starting at your hips and coming up with your arms horizontal to the floor. ) anyway the trainer at my gym said I def should not be doing pushups. So I don't know what to do. I did Tone and Sweat today and I could really feel it in my delt. I hope I didn't hurt it more. My daughter works for a PT so she is screaming physical therapy!! hehe I don't want to stop the pushups tho!! WAHHH So I had 6 ladies for the class today. AFter Tone and Sweat we did the 20 minute Winsor pilates tape. I thought pilates was easy - NOT!! That was quite an ab workout. So it is official - our gym is hosting pilatesforpink. I am really excited about it. Should get the info soon. I can't remember who sent the info to the group but I want to thank you. I am taking my friend who had a double mastectomy to her radiation treatment on Thursday and I can hardly wait to tell her about it. She will be so pleased. I am hoping she will feel well enough to come! We are also going to make pink ribbons on construction paper and give the ladies at the gym who don't want to do the class a chance to donate money in someone's name and we will also send that to the organization. It should be great. I'll let you know how it turns out. We are having two classes, one will be October 23 at 6PM and the other October 20 at 9AM. apryl Festival City Concrete/ & Carolyn Visser wrote: Pink wrote: > Question: I've actually done Ripped! Guest guest
Thanks Carolyn and ! I have them all but have only done Ripped and S & L. If S & L is the hardest than I should be less timid about trying the other two! Hugs, > In a message dated 9/25/2007 12:17:24 P.M. Guest guest
Hi....I don't think I'll be doing Ripped tomorrow - I think my back wants me to do something more gentle (it is feeling a bit "off" right now - after a couple of pretty decent days - sometimes I don't know what sets it off! ) - I'll probably walk or do a "walking" aerobic workout and add some nice matwork Pilates on. I may feel up for Ripped on Thurday, though! Maybe I can do one Ripped workout per week? I think I would probably stick with the original Ripped, perhaps Ripped to the Core. I think Slim & Lean will have too many reps for me to maintain good form - even w/out using weights. Thursday is a possibility, but I think I'll do "gentle" for tomorrow! Take care, DOnna
