Guest guest
How does your child respond to medical, dental, and hygiene activities? I am mom to a child with autism and an ABA researcher investigating a behavioral intervention to treat problematic avoidance (resistance and distress responses)to common and necessary medical, dental, and hygiene activities among children with developmental disabilities. I am hoping the intervention will increase children's comfort, reduce parent stress, improve children's personal health, and reduce the need for restraint (physical, chemical) to accomplish these activities. I need your help: please take this 10 minute survey about your child's experiences with medical, dental, and hygiene activities. You can earn a chance to win one of 2 $50 gift cards (amazon.com and Target). survey link: For USA Parents of Children with Developmental Disabilities http://edu.surveygizmo.com/s3/788296/Child-Responses-to-Hygiene-and-Health-Care-\ Activities I need survey responses from parents whose children DO and DO NOT have difficulty with these activities in order to get an accurate understanding of the issue. Please help spread the word by forwarding the survey link and " like " my research page on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/abaresearchatwestfield Learn more about this research at: http://www.westfield.ma.edu/docs/ABAresearch.pdf Thanks so much for your support!
