Guest guest
I always thought it was an anti-dep. So it wouldn’t work right if you only take it once a month. Re: Re: Hi, everyone. I looked up trazodone & it's not listed as a sleeping pill but as an anti-depressant & one of it's side effects is insomnia. It's metabolized by the liver so I know my doctors wouldn't let me take it. Strange that your doctors told you it's a sleeping pill Gayle, I'd ask them about it, maybe they want you on it cause it's an anti-d ? Guest guest
Hi All ~~ I have tried Trazadone in the past too. My doctor was prescribing it for sleep. He told me that it is an anti-depressant, however, to get the full anti-depressant benefit you would have to take so much that you would never be able to wake up. I didn't take it for too long as it made me too groggy in the morning. Hope this is helpful. Blessings, L wrote: SuZie… I am taking Trazadone for sleep also. As with most drugs there are many possible side effects. The most common one with Trazadone is to put you to sleep, and it works like a charm. I recently tried reducing the number of meds I take and didn’t refill the Trazadone, day three I drove down to get it…. Many things are so much easier if one has had sleep! Guest guest
I have traz for sleeping too. I don't use it much now because I am too groggy in the mornings after I use it. But It worked good for the time I took it. dL wrote: SuZie… I am taking Trazadone for sleep also. As with most drugs there are many possible side effects.
