Guest guest
The Division of Developmental Disabilities http://nj.gov/humanservices/ddd/home/ In response to a post that included " respite " care. Isn't that something that is offered through the DDD? I am having the most worse time getting these people to get back to me. I've send letters with No response. My son is actually already enrolled with the DDD and I have never used any services nor have I ever received any money that he may be entitled to. Now that he is getting older, I'd like to see if I can get a little help. Keeping him busy only helps keep him calm. The child is interested in music, learning to speak spanish, he's even enrolled in a program at the gym, with what ins. pays some of. Why can't I get a response from these DDD people? It's been awhile since I contacted or even talked to the lady in charge but she gives such a run around that I am going to try to do everything through writing...maybe I'll try again this week and do a return receipt on the letter to make sure someone got and it signed for it.
