Has anyone had bruising with a brace after cast removal?

My 2 year old daughter finished her first series of EDF casting and was placed

in a Boston brace. She wears this brace 22 hours a day and has been wearing it

for about 10 days. I have noticed bruising in her hip areas. It is kind of large

for her little body. I have made an appointment with the orthotist to have her

brace adjusted but we live 5 hours away and weren't able to make the appointment

until this tuesday. I was wondering if anyone else had issues with bruising in a

brace. Also, I am beginning to wonder of the bruises were caused by her cast

instead of the brace. Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you!!
