Guest guest
I went to the Drs today (3rd time in 2 weeks), I have had a painful leg for a while, 2 Drs said it was caused by a strained achilles tendon and to put ice on it! I have been putting ice on but no improvement. I rang the night duty Dr last night, they said I should have been for an xray and were going to send a report to my Dr today requesting that I see them. I was quite shocked as when I went to a decent Dr he said my leg was red and inflamed and I now have an infection, not sure if the tendon problem is caused by the infection or whether the tendon problem is in addition to the infection. I have antibiotics, 4 a day. If no improvement I am to go back and have my tendon looked at! How can these Drs miss infections? How do you get leg infections, are they catching. Many thamks Liz
