Good news for my Avery

Avery had cast #5 applied on March 13th. She was 11 degrees out of cast and 9

degrees in cast. She has been 9 degrees in cast for the last 3 casts. She

started out at 39 degrees.

Her rotation is at 0 degrees and started at 20 degrees.

The Dr said that this is her last cast

She is being fitted for a brace in June. He will monitor her through the summer,

but is confident that this will be it.

He said that the gane plan is to brace her and check her every 2-3 months while

in her brace for this year. If she doesn't regress at all, he is going to remove

the brace and see her every year.

I am a little nervous, but so very excited! Avery will actually get to swim for

the first time ever this summer. I have already bought 2 swim suits for her.

Thank you everyone for the support for the last 15 months. I am sure that I will

need more, but I wanted to share the good news.
