The first couple of weeks the Dr thought it was a tendon problem and I used ice on my leg. In the end I rang the emergency Dr at night, I went to the Dr on the Monday morning and he diagnosed an infection in my leg and gave me antibiotics. Since then I am on my third lot of antibiotics, just finished today. After going to the Drs last week the Dr thought it best I was checked for a clot in my leg, DVT. I went for a scan at Bury St Edmunds on Friday, there was no clot, they told me to come back again today! I went today for a further scan on my leg, they said it could still be infected as it is still red and swollen, however they also said it may be a heart/respiratory problem. I do have a compressed chest due to my condition, and use oxygen 15 hours a day! I am going to Papworth next week so will hopefully know more then.
