Guess who learned how to ride a 2 wheel bike!!!! Liv has been hospital

free for over 2 yrs now and our lives seem to be getting normal. Having a

severely twisted spine since 5 months old and having to wear casts/braces

w/ neck support for so many years, didnt allow her to see her feet...Let

alone master a bike. I was able to find a low rider bike with a banana

seat, white wall tires and handle bars that are high, so its ergonomically

correct for her spine. Naturally, she was scared...But, after 5 tries

with help from my strong lil brother, she did it!!!! Im sooo happy right

now! My girl FINALLY gets to ride a bike like her friends. She can

finally have the wind in her hair and experience the independence/freedom

bike riding gives you. Way to face your fears Liv!!! Way to grow up my

darling:)

She learned in SLC a couple of days ago and Im waiting to get video from

my bro. If I ever get it, Ill share as this is a HUGE milestone for my

girl.

Just had to share as I know you all can relate.

That´s great news!!! I'm very happy for Liv and you!! I really feel identify with your story, and hope will reach Liv´s age enjoying life as you do! She just turned 2 last friday and was with a rough cold that kept me really frightened. Luckily she is recovering now and is running around again. We are in winter and temperatures are really low!!!!! Lot of cold weather!!!

We are travelling to SLC next 9 of August, hope to meet some of you guys there!Love,naMom to fina (4th cast SLC)On Wed, Jul 11, 2012 at 7:06 PM, <heather@...> wrote:
