Guest guest
I am the mother of a 10 1/2 month old boy named Hunter who was diagnosed with progressive infantile scoliosis at 9 months. Just like many stories I have heard I am the one that discovered the scoliosis and was told he was too young to have it. Well after being persistent it was in fact confirmed at 9 months. Hunter was at 20 degrees at 9 1/2 months and is scheduled for casting in September. My concern is that the hospital in Hartford uses risser casting and not edf. I am being told that there is not much difference in outcome. I like and trust the doctot but want to hear from others on their thoughts. Does anyone know of a doctor/hospital in the Connecticut area or New York area that does edf casting and who has the name of a good doctor. Thank you.
