Guest guest
Hi all, Well Rosie is now 10 1/2 months old and we still haven't seen the orthopedic surgeon here in B.C Canada. Appointment in October. Her x-ray with arms raised showed a 16 degree curve but that was 2 months ago now. I was just curious, is the most likely outcome that her condition will self resolve without having to be cast? I worry every day that too much time is passing by. Aren't babies supposed to be cast by 1 year? We have requested a copy of her x-ray and has offered to have somebody at one of the Shriner's hospital look at it. So as soon as it arrives I will be sending it to her. With regards to Shriner's Hospitals. When I contacted them about getting Rosie in their files, they asked me which hospital I wanted to apply to. How do I decide which doctor I want her to see? I find it very overwhelming as this is such a huge decision to make. I don't know the first thing about any of the doctor's. I've heard good things about Salt Lake City, would this be the best place to apply to? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I really don't know how to figure this out. Thanks so much.
