Hi guys! This may seem like somewhat of a weird question. My daughter is 13 months old and has recently (7 days ago) been placed in her first Risser cast for infantile scoliosis. She also happens to be in the process of teething and has been drooling up a storm. I cant seem to keep the drool off the top of her cast, which in turn is starting to make it stink. Does ANYONE have any wonderful ideas on how to make this not happen? I would appreciate it! We are so new at this and this is such a foreign concept, as she is our only child! Thank you so much!!!! Guest guest
Will she keep a bib on? If not always keep a crew neck shirt on her tho you will probably have to change it several times a day. Best idea i can think of is put a bib on her and then a shirt over the bib. Hopefully that helps. Good luck! mom to IsaiahSent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE DROID Casts and drool? Hi guys! Guest guest
Duct tape!! We used leopard print from target on every cast- it's cute when it peeks out of her shirt, it goes with everything & , most importantly, it protects the cast from getting wet & you can just wipe it off!
