Guest guest
Hi Chelsea,Glad the casting went well!! Just wanted to comment on the lazy eye. My son also has been treated for that. We were given a choice of patching or atropine eye drop. We chose the drop and it was very easy. One drop in the better eye. It blurs the vision in the better eye to make the weaker eye work harder. He did so well he no longer has glasses. Just wanted to let you know just in case the patch isn't working for you!!Best wishes,
Guest guest
You're not alone. My little girl has ambliopia and a cast, too. We play the "eye patch game": she gets special snacks and chocolate milk when she sits still and wears her eyepatch. It only last 15-20 minutes, max, of course, but it seems to be helping... In our case, the eye dr. says her vision won't improve, but at least this helps stabilize her eyes a little more. Good luck! I totally feel your heartache! ~
Guest guest
Glad she had a smooth ride home! Liv and I have EDS and flat feet too. The only problem I have w/ my feet now is wearing high heels. I could do it when I was younger, but not now...Hate em, ouch!
