My son vomited with every cast. And any anesthesia at all for that matter. They always give him an anti nausea combo now while under so that as he wakes the vomiting is limited. We continue with zofran until vomiting subsides. I would ask for anti nausea mess from the anesthesiologist each time while under. Hope that helps! Hey Chelsea--Logan is an EXTREME vomit-er! We actually have them give Zofran IV and IV fluids during the casting procedure. Since we have started that the past 3 cast recoveries have been vomit free! Thank you, maybe i will mention that to aubreys doctor. My son vomits every vomits everytime too!! We give him zofran also. It really seems to help. I asked them to give it to him before he wakes up and they do afterward too if he is still sick. I do not see any negative side effects from the zofran. He gets it in his IV, but you can also get dissolving tablets by prescription. They are expensive, but I only get a few tablets at a time so it's not too bad. Zofran, reglan, small bits of crackers, ice chips....And mostly just time

to get rid of the yucky anesthetic drugs...sorry she went through all

that.
