We went to Children's in San Diego yesterday for our check up - and good news!Dr. M felt that Addie was doing great in her brace. She's been in her brace for 5 months now, and she's holding steady. She's still in the mid-20s. Her scoli isn't showing signs of aggression, so he's fine to suggest staying in her brace for another 6 months.

He wants to get us past 5 years old, before we go into maintenance mode. At that point, we'll definitely be on braces and 6 month check ups. And then she may or may not need surgery. We'll have to see as she gets older.

But, for us, it was fantastic news to hear that he wants us to stay in the brace over the summer (get it remolded if we need to as she grows), and just keep watching. Huge news for us.
