Guest guest
Logan is a little wobbly at first when the casts come off AND when he gets the new cast on. I believe it to be finding his center of balance too. Congrats on the improvement! OH and growing 3 inches! Seriously! that is awesome. Accding to DrP where we go (SC), growing is the absolute key in trying to cure scoliosis. So way to Grow! -Logan's mama (45 down to 9 out of cast, last september, 12th cast, 2 years old) From: Leo <lennyzr2@...> ISOP Forum <infantile scoliosis treatment > Sent: Thursday, March 15, 2012 8:14 AM Subject: Landon N. Update Our son Landon is 19 months old and just had his 2nd cast applied yesterday at Shriner's Erie, PA. It was another great experience and he is doing great! He grew 3 inches and is down from 51* Cobb and 18* RVAD to 37* and 0* out of cast. He is down from 29* and 6* in old cast to 27* and 0* in new cast.He was actually due for the 2nd last month, but he came down with Bronchitis. Both he and his non-scholi brother are in daycare 5 days a week and have been sick more times than I care to count this winter. I don't know if that is the norm for daycare? Last Friday prior to his appointment, he came down with diarrhea and woke up Saturday morningcompletely covered in poo. Luckily I was planning on removing the cast myself anyways that day...I used a pair of landscape pruning sheers and it was very easy. Took less than 10 minutes. I didn't expect this, but once the cast was off, he had some trouble standing and walking for a couple of hours. I guess he had to re-learn his balance point...he was so excited to get a regular bath!Sent from my iPhone
