Guest guest
It's just the lonely Cheesehead...now you see her...now you don't! Been back in the hospital since Wednesday. I felt " too good to be true " on Tuesday and woke up the next morning heaving, in incredible pain and a fever of 101.5. So went to the doctor, who put me in the hospital, did a CAT scan and PRAISE GOD I do NOT have an abcess as I (and he) feared. However, I do have staph infection in the drainage area (not at the site, but inside along where the tube was in place). I got the JP out today and am on IV antibiotics in the hospital until Monday at least. Then I'll be going home on some good strong stuff. I'm feeling pretty good once again although I still have some pain from the infection. But the incision is healed beautifully and can't really feel any pain from there at all anymore now that I have the other to worry about. Well, that's an update on me. I had my son bring my laptop up today when I found out I'd be here at least two more boring days!! I was lost without it once my head cleared.
