Guest guest
Water weight can shift 4-5 pounds, so you have to take that in account when you weigh yourself. Most books say you will see weight loss, or clothes are looser every couple weeks. I use recipes from www.genaw.com/lowcarb/ I modify them using WAP food sources. Stevia is the only sweetener I use, and I use about 3 packets a week for a family of 3. Last week we used it for low carb ice cream. I might make quick breads using flax seed or almond flour, but I noticed I craved " breads " a lot more at first. I might make a " bread " substitute every 10 days now. 30 grams of protein 3 times daily, 20 grams of carb daily, LOTS of fat. Surprising how many yummy recipes you can make following the guidelines. To me, it doesn't seem like a diet because of all the stuff I can have. Pork chops Alfredo with broccoli. Chicken fried in almond flour and coconut, with cauliflower smothered in melted cheese. My doc said to eat all I want. Most people don't over eat calorie wise because of the healthy fats. The body gets full and stops craving. Did you get the books? They answer most questions. After I read them, I only had about 5 questions for my doc. Kathy
