Guest guest
I know this is late but I screwed up telling you about it! I guess this deal is for us unorganized people only, ha ha! I've got a special arrangement going with Ferndale Turkeys down in Cannon Falls. I thought I would buy as many of these super-affordable turkeys as we can get for our group under our FARMESOTA name, I will go get them (I work in Cannon Falls) then arrange a simple pick up, in plenty of time for you to prepare them for your Thanksgiving extravaganza. I can get anywhere between 100-200 birds depending upon how many we order. The best part is that they will be available for only $2.50/pound, an amazing price for this quality! This is the bird I will be brining and roasting (on my Holland Grill). These farm-raised birds have full access to outdoor pasture, sun and exercise (where health and flavor come from), they eat a full grain ration and are processed in a humane and safe way. These birds are not the ultimate, be-all, end-all, that is, not certified organic, not bronze, and they have some soy in the dry portion of their basic (non-organic) ration, but I've eaten many of them and they are awesome, juicy, flavorful birds NOT FACTORY-FARMED! No antibiotics, No hormones. Since they are summer-raised, much of their diet is foraged. Ferndale is a truly ethical family operation and they are all about local. You will get raves over the flavor, tenderness and quality. HERE'S ALL YOU NEED TO DO..... Contact me or Rebekah with the number of birds you want (they are 10-14# each) then either give me a credit card or check to cover say $25 of the tab per bird and I'll do the rest. Pay the balance when you come to get the bird(s). Pick up site will probably be my own site here in Uptown. I'm hoping Susie and Becca will help distribute. No limit! Well, OK, no more than 100 per family! WE NEED YOUR ORDER BY SATURDAY NOON! Get a bunch of them! This is a great option for gifting others too! Will holistic@... Rebekah ginger918@...
