Kombucha brewing containers

I was at Menards yesterday and noticed they had 1 gal glass sun tea

jars for $3.99. Sun tea jars work great for doing kombucha since they

have the little spigot at the bottom for easier bottling. You can do

continuous brewing with them, or regular but just have easier

bottling. I love mine for when I want to experiment with teas or

sugar sources. I maintain my big 2.5 gal crock with my " normal "

recipe and use the smaller 1 gal jars for playing.

Anyway, if anyone was hunting I just thought I would mention.

This was the Menards on University and Prior. I would guess others

have them too but I know sometimes they will have things unique to

each store too.
