Okay, I think I'm understanding better how upset arguing makes some

of us. I was wrongly concluding that since we're Aspies and more

logical we could handle it better but I see the opposite can also be

true. And many have a hard time in real life so this is a haven.

Maybe when we express our own personal point of view we feel like we

are just expressing ourself but when another expresses it, we feel

like they are attacking or bringing a negative, fighting spirit?

I see that the arguing needs to stop because some can't handle it.

But there will be sometimes that people argue. I don't see how that

can never happen. Maybe we can choose our words carefully so that

when we disagree, it won't sound inflammatory? Or commend that person

and say a kind word as well, so they know they are not being attacked?

I have had a hard life with a lot of problems and have gone through a

lot of pain. I have learned a lot from my life and have become

stronger as a result. I also have had my religion to help me and

fellow believers as a support system. And now I'm happily married and

have that. I feel like my understanding of pain and my current

happiness are what motivate me to feel compassion for others and want

to help them and I have the strength to do so. So I stay as positive

as I can (within reason) and try to help in what little ways I can.

If you have a problem, ask me and I will try and help.

Tom, Nick, and others who are upset--this is a good forum! Hang in

there.
