Guest guest
Hi Sonya and welcome to our group! :-) From: sonyas0966 <witchy66@...> Subject: Re Introduction weightloss Date: Monday, April 12, 2010, 6:18 PM Â Hi my name is Sonya and I am in Australia. I have been listening to the podcasts on and off for the last year or so and have just restarted from the beginning using the workbook to work through the homework. In the past I haven't been so good at doing the homework as I would miss it while walking and not go back to it later whicjh has meant I haven't got as much out of the program as I should have. At the moment I am only up to Ep 4 but I feel I have taken more in from those episodes than I have previously. I just thought I would post my away from and towards motivators here for some accountability for myself as this is the first day of the rest of my life. Away from motivators: Diabetes Limited mobility Shortness of breath climbing stairs Towards Motivators Normal Blood Glucose Levels Able to walk up 2 flights of stairs without struggle Able to touch my toes - this may sound strange but even at the age of 10 I struggled to do this! Able to walk 60 min without puffing Thanks for reading Sonya
Guest guest
In the spirit of good faith: Hello my name is Amy Boesl. I am a wife, mother to 4 chilren: 16, Owen 11, Libby 3 and Aubrey 1. We have 2 dogs and 10 hens all residing on our half acre cul-de-sac lot in Ramsey. I planted a nice veggie garden this year, organically and it looks like a jungle! We recently we a part of changing the zoning laws in Ramsey to allow hens on parcels less than 3 acres. I am fondly referred to as The Chicken Lady by some. We are transplants from the UP where I worked as a nurse. I now stay home with the children thanks to our relocation. While I've always leaned towards the " granola " lifestyle, this became more of a necessity due to health reasons these past 12 years. I am still on this journey of transition. My eldest two and husband being my least interested in conforming. I've met some nice gals through my church and the NWM homeschooling group. Thanks to TFMN I purchased some fine meat from Bella Sol Terra and met personally the queen of kombucha, Barb. I just recently began making Kefir and kombucha and am wanting to incorporate more fermented foods into my diet. I have been gluten free for a few years but with healing of my gut, hope to tolerate fermented grains. My MI MD thinks perhaps with adrenal support and better gut health that this is a possibility. So...I'm wondering if any of you have good recipes for condiments, specifically BBQ sauce, ketchup and prepared mustard. Fermented or not. Hoping to transition those plastic store bottles out of the house. I'm also interested in chatting with anyone who has experience with gluten issues and or Crohn's disease. It was suggested that I also take FCLO so keep me in mind if taking a bulk order. Amy Boesl Ramsey
