Guest guest
I haven't tried GAPS, but it stands for Gut and Psychology Syndrome - by Dr Natasha -McBride. She has a book of the same name (which I haven't read, but have read extracts on the net, which sound interesting). She is a neurologist and nutritionist and believes neurological conditions can be helped by fixing gut issues, after " recovering " her son and other people. I identified our sensitivities using a FAILSAFE elimination diet (look up Fed up with Food Additives). What is confusing is the GAPS protocol is pretty much opposite to FAILSAFE. I have heard many people can tolerate more foods using digestive enzymes etc Miranda > > My 7 year old son has been diagnosed Asperger's and I am > considered mild myself. Guest guest
Susie, My family is on GAPS as well and we'd be happy to be in on the potluck idea. We will all be full GAPS within 2 weeks. We are in Bloomington if that plays a role in your organization. Thanks for coordinating! Lindsey
