IS there usually something to biopsy.? I asked the doc to re-do the HRA in the hopes of finding something to biopsy. Is this reasonable?? thanksA Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. Guest guest
My knowledge is a bit hazy but an LSIL (Low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion) needs to be watched to see if it goes away or develops into something more dangerous. The body is able to deal with these by itself usually. Repeat the test right away to see if it was a false positive or something more serious. If second test is something more serious, say high grade, then a biopsy should be done. If still a low grade or nothing, then best to repeat within six months. This was a couple of years' ago's wisdom though. Best check the U of California San Fran dedicated website http://www.analcancerinfo.ucsf.edu/epidemiology/index.html and thebody.com. > > I posted a few days ago.MY result of LSIL was just from a culture..
