Guest guest Posted August 8, 2011 Report Share Posted August 8, 2011 OK, so it is best to cook with buttermilk, kefir, etc., depending on who you talk with about it anyway. All these are great cultures to have, loaded with good stuff. Question: When you make pancakes, waffles, gravy, whatever, don't you kill the good stuff in those cultures? Is there at that point--and use--any health reason to use them? I am still going to use them, just wondering what the benefits are when cooking.
