Guest guest
This is a cry from the weary. The small group of us, who for the last 6 weeks have been in the trenches of planning this event, NEED YOUR HELP!! In March when I traveled to Barboo, WI in support of farmer Vernon Hershberger, I was a part of over 200 people standing on the lawn of the courthouse signing the Declaration of Food Freedom. We then proceeded to pack the courtroom and the overflow room. Why? Because if we don't stand up for what rightly belongs to us we send a message that it's okay to take away our food freedom. Alvin Schlangen is facing criminal charges and it's time to support him. He is not my farmer, but if they can go after him they can go after my farmer. There is a sign up sheet to take a shift in the courtroom. It only holds 30 people so you would think this was an easy task. But apparently not because on the 3rd day of his trial only 3 people are signed up. Is that really the best we can do? The first day we have 15 people attending. We have national speakers flying in from all over the country to show their support for Alvin. We need people on the lawn of the Hennepin County Government Center on Monday, May 14th 7am holding food freedom signs. Our own Trad Foodie hosted an awesome sign making party 2 weeks ago and we made 30 signs. We need another 30 more, but so far no one else has stepped forward to take on this task. Can you go to court, stand on the lawn at 7am, host a sign making party, donate money to the event? PLEASE LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD. Go to Rawmilkfreedomriders.com for event details or email me off list. Deanna

Guest guest
Great idea! I'd be up for babysitting if you bring the kids to me. I have three myself: Amara 6, Laela 4, 1, and they love company. I'm in Crystal. I used to do childcare for two neighbor girls and a neighbor boy together, so we're used to keeping the plates spinning. Email me off list if you're interested. We have lots of toys, a giant box fort castle in the basement and plenty of books to read and lots of crafts to do. Deborah > > > > This is a cry from the weary.
