Guest guest
I saw Dr. K yesterday, and the lovely Dawn. Doc said my wound is looking really good. I took the CD with the progression pictures for him. Dawn said, as she was feeling my wound up, " This has REALLY closed a lot! I can feel how much smaller it is now. " They are " upping " the pump to over 200, and putting it on intermittent. My local nurse asked me to ask Dr. K about that. She said that the higher vacuum combined with intermittent really speeds things up. X-Rays of the lung to see what's up with the cough. No clue about the voice being gone. But, I think it's because of the tubes being shoved down my throat damaging the vocal folds. YEARS of therapy to heal, if that is what is wrong. Now, here is the latest DAZE of my life. About five minutes ago I had a coughing fit, and guess what? I now have a brand new hernia. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pissed. It's at the upper end of my incision. Go figure.
