Holly,

I always send a snack with my daughter (age 2) to sunday school so she

doesn't eat the animal crackers they provide. They asked once about

allergies, and I just said that she didn't have any, but we just don't eat

snacks like that. They've been really good about it ever since, even

asking one time if it was ok for her to have raisins.

One thing I do is always send her with one of her favorite " treat " snacks

that we don't have often at home-- like freeze-dried strawberries or

mangoes. This is so that she'll be more likely to not be interested in the

other kids' snacks. Peer pressure probably isn't as big of a concern at 14

months, though. :)
