Guest guest
Holly, I always send a snack with my daughter (age 2) to sunday school so she doesn't eat the animal crackers they provide. They asked once about allergies, and I just said that she didn't have any, but we just don't eat snacks like that. They've been really good about it ever since, even asking one time if it was ok for her to have raisins. One thing I do is always send her with one of her favorite " treat " snacks that we don't have often at home-- like freeze-dried strawberries or mangoes. This is so that she'll be more likely to not be interested in the other kids' snacks. Peer pressure probably isn't as big of a concern at 14 months, though.
