Hi, all. My name is and I'm new to the group. I stumbled onto a real foods

diet about 3 years ago, when I lived in Missouri. I was suffering from various

diseases and started looking online for answers. I never dreamed it would be

found in food. I started with grass-fed meat and then moved into fresh eggs and

raw milk from a local farm. I am a member of WAPF and follow Nourishing

Traditions, with the exception of not eating grains.(When I did, I mostly used

sourdough) I'm especially big into cultured and fermented foods and make my own

yogurt, sauerkraut, beet kvass, kombucha, etc. My husband was laid off last year

and we ended up moving to Fargo for a new job. (I've been buying my milk -both

cow and goat- on the MN side of the river) Now he is being transferred to Anoka.

We're hopeful this will be our last move. , my husband, was healed of

severe lifelong allergies through our diet and recently, with the help of a

naturopath, has come off all of his diabetes meds. I'd appreciate any

suggestions for naturopaths and chiropractors near Anoka. I've looked some up,

but it's always nice to get a recommendation. I'm so happy to find this group,

as it looks like a great resource for finding real food. We will be moving there

at the end of August and I look forward to meeting some of you. I started a blog

as a journal of sorts in this real food/healing journey, but mostly I share

recipes. I like to keep things simple, in the hopes of encouraging others who

are overwhelmed (like I was!) at the thought of making everything from scratch.

Here's the web address, if anyone is interested:

There's also a link there to my facebook page dedicated to food and health.
