Guest guest
An idea in the making... This is a simple idea, yet it can be used to contact elected officials in the U.S and U.K concerning A.S.D issues. As well as organization and other identities the " leaders " vote to do so. The hope is to construct a private and spam free e-mail list endorsed by leaders that builds up to 100+ members. These persons would sign up understanding that when advocacy alerts happen, they follow the instructions set forth and voted in by the leaders each time an alert happens. They then understand prior that they can send a simple short e-mail, longer e-mails, snail mail and even faxes or leave a voice mail. This I believe is the simplest, most cost effective and efficient advocacy technique available to us. Leaders would market the list to there members or display a link to sign up on there websites, or even sign up themselves. When deemed necessary one of the leaders initiates an advocacy alert vote, in how the procedure takes place 70% must agree, though if under 70% do not agree there is a chance for a second vote under the stipulation of a Advo-alert re-write to do another vote. As the list grows to more then 1,000 participants, so does the effectiveness of the advocacy system at our disposal. Using it properly and responsibly is a must. Q. What makes a leader and who are the leaders? A. Anyone that owns an A.S.D related website or communication platform such as a community forum or discussion mailing list.
