Guest guest
Well guys, I had ominous feelings about driving to Delano, then to R Cucamonga. Some of you know I had a blowout (er, my car did) enroute to Delano. Thank God for a nice young man who put my donut tire on the car so I could limp to Lost Hills for a used tire... $30. (I made it home safely, but my car is now making " rough " noises. Perhaps it needs a bottle of Cit.Mag.) When I got to RC I had already planned to take my car in for the free tire rotation... but it cost me another $18.50 for a replacement tire ( & mounting). On the way south I had a slightly scratchy throat. But in RC I went thru Kleenex like it was going out of style. Yet when I left there, I didn't use a Kleenex til I reached Bakers- field. My head is still full, and I'm hoping it's not going to drop into pneumonia. Then last night... well, apparently someone suggested I take a flying leap, because I did! The dog across the street got out, and I put him on their patio and the handyman & I sealed the hole in the fence. Later I thot the neighbor had come home and went to tell her the story. It's pretty dark here and I thot I was headed into her driveway. I hit the curb (barefoot) and splayed out on the sidewalk, hitting my knees, left shoulder and pinkie, and the left toes must have hit the edge of the curb. I have scrapes today, but I think I BROKE 1-2 toes! I see my pcp Tuesday about the sprained hamstring, so will lay all this on him, expecting an instant cure. Guest guest
Oh Bobbe! You poor baby! Broken toes have to be the worst! There's not a damn thing you can do about them except let them heal and try not to bang them again. Sorry about your car, too. Take care of yourself, okay? Hugs!
