Guest guest
Apparently Wall Street has taken notice of the trials for Vertex (Liz and tell us more)and the fast tracking of it by the FDA, because there was a short story on one of the stock market channels that's always on the tv in our lobby at work. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw it. Dollar signs means speed to the market! Maybe in a year or so we won't be talking about Pegysas vs. Peg-Intron?! Makes me wonder if I should wait? But this fatigue is getting to me; figure if I feel like crap, might as well REALLY feel like crap?! > > > > My knowledge is limited, but I believe there are two different drug > > companies > > and also some doctors prefer one treatment over the other- > > Pegysis vs Peg-Intron depending on Genotype type and all.. > > Ally, you'd be surprised what all you can learn by using Google.. > > > > Sheena > > > > > Well, I did a little looking and apparently the studies they have done so > far have been biased toward Peg-Intron but there is a big study happening > right now that will be finished in 2007 to see which one is more effective: > http://www.hivandhepatitis.com/hep_c/news/2005/012405_a.html > > The *biased* studies showed that Peg-Intron was more. Guest guest
Know the frustration of being on treatment, feeling like yesterday's leftovers, and not having someone to do those important things that need to get done. You are on anti-depressants right? Take it easy today, tell everybody Doc said so. LOL Housework can wait till you feel better believe it or not. Or call some of those friends that promised to help during this. (did they?) I took some up on their offers to help. It was hard because I really didn't want to ask. But I did. Sorry hon you are feeling so bad. Guest guest
LOL yup it looks that way , but at least the riba can be taken out of the picture soon .
