Guest guest
Hubby and I looked at a house today that we are wondering if it would be Ok to buy. The house has been empty for over a year and water seeped into the basement thanks to everything sloping back to the house (extinctions for the drain spouts and landscaping will take care of the problem). There is a white fuzzy mold in the basement that is growing on the sheet rock. We were told there is companies that come out and clean and take care of it. Does this really take care of mold problems? Is there anything else we should be worried about here? There will be all new flooring through out the house so no worries about mold in carpet and the whole place has been freshly painted.
